I didn’t take the easy road. Hell, I don’t even think I knew one existed. Everything I’ve built—my career, my business, my mindset—came from putting in the work, taking the hits, and refusing to quit. I spent seven years in the military, working my way up to Sergeant and leading soldiers. I did two tours in Afghanistan, where I was in charge of COMSEC and radio operations for multiple branches of the military and our allied forces. It taught me leadership, discipline, and how to make decisions that matter. When I transitioned out, I wasn’t sure what was next. But what I did know was this: I didn’t want a paycheck—I wanted a purpose.

I jumped into real estate in 2019, and from the very start, I dominated. I joined The Brian Burds Home Selling Team and became the #1 agent every single year I was there. Not because I was following some script, but because I was doing what felt natural—being honest, leading with facts, and never selling people on bullshit. If I wouldn’t buy it, I wasn’t going to let my clients buy it either. By 2022, I knew it was time to build something of my own. That’s when I created Homes by Harshaw, a real estate business built on transparency, education, and an unapologetic approach to helping people make smart moves. I wasn’t just selling homes—I was making sure my clients weren’t getting screwed over by bad deals, shady lenders, or their own doubts.

I’ve had my share of challenges. Slow months, high expenses, doubts creeping in. But every time, I remind myself—I’ve led people, I’ve built a business from scratch, I’ve gone from not knowing where I’d land to owning my space in this industry. I’m not here to impress.
